Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)

Mix first 9 ingredients with your hands to form a compact mass, so you could form balls.

Line the balls in a baking dish and stir over previously heated olive oil and butter (heat 3 tbsp of olive oil in a frying pan and add 2 tbsp of butter).

Bake for about 20 minutes.

Blend all sauce ingredients in a food processor or a blender.

Remove the meatballs from the oven and stir in a prepared sauce.

Return to the oven and bake for about 10 more minutes. As a side dish serve it with lettuce.
